Funeral services are never a one-size-fits-all event. Your family members can gather together at one of our traditional funeral services to share cherished memories and stories of the past, to express your grief, and to share experiences to cope with this significant transition.
Traditional funeral services begin with either an open casket viewing or a closed casket viewing, depending on your family’s preferences, followed by a formal funeral service to honor your loved one and their life. Your family is welcome to share personal eulogies, preferred prayers, and music for the service. After the conclusion of the funeral ceremony, your loved one will be transported in a procession to the designated gravesite for their interment.
Our team will handle all the arrangements for the funeral service. Prior to the service, we will meet with your family and clergy to set your mind at ease and finalize the details. In addition to preparing and filing all of the necessary legal paperwork, we will obtain licenses, permits, and authorizations. During embalming and funeral preparation, we will accommodate your loved one while they are being prepared for their service.
Our traditional funeral service includes a two-hour viewing, followed by a formal funeral service at either Mitchell’s Funeral Home, or a local church of your choice. Your family will receive a register book, custom viewing programs, as well as beautiful floral arrangements crafted by Mitchell’s Florist. Your loved one will then be provided automotive transportation to the cemetery of your choice for the burial service.
